The US, Latin America and Europe, ConsolFreight founders Ernesto Vila and Jose Maria Sola felt that their customers
were increasingly having higher demands for speed, efficiency, and global reach. They realized, not only that
most of the challenges they faced in their daily operations could be solved with the use of technology, but also
that freight forwarders could leverage technology by joining their volumes to reach economies of scale and
lower their costs.
In order to provide small/medium freight forwarders with these and many other capabilities in a digital era, they
founded ConsolFreight. So, they decided to build a development team in Florida, on-boarding Reinier Jardines,
a software developer with remarkable experience managing complex software development projects. ConsolFreight, LLC. headquarters are based in Miami, Florida with operations in Barcelona and Dublin, and a quickly expanding team.
ConsolFreight ecosystem currently counts on several partnerships with renowned freight forwarding networks such as X2 Logistics Networks, Globalink, Security Cargo Network. More than 600 freight forwarders have joined our ecosystem as exclusive trade lane providers.
