The story behind the LIMXTEC

LimecoinX is a project that was founded in 2014, but was soon abandoned by its developer. It was later taken over by Chris and Sebastian. As the project began to include more features, they decided rebranding was necessary. So the name was changed from “LimecoinX” to “BitSend” in February 2016. Moreover, the foundations of the Limxtec have also been laid. That’s only the beginning of the story of Limxtec, however.

In 2017, the LIMXTEC group started to revive Megacoin MEC, because Megacoin’s initial original developer Kimoto left the project in June 2015. It was later taken over by Limxtec and updated to Blocksize of 10 MB (20 MB with SegWit) and new difficulty retarget system called “Core Shield” until today.

At the same year, Bitcloud BTDX (former BTD) was abandoned by its developer, and taken over by Limxtec team. Limxtec improved BTDX as a Masternode POS Coin and has achieved many successes until now.

Finally, Bitcore BTX which was created in April 2017 as an experimental scaling solution by the Limxtec development team. The developers have tried to solve Bitcoin’s scaling issues with a new approach and are striving to be the #1 payment coin. 2017 and 2018 was a resounding success for BTX. Bitcore network experienced record growth over the course of the years in developments and adoption.

In the meantime, the Limxtec team has gained several partner projects (e.g. IOC coinstorm, ERC Europecoin, DMD Diamond, MAC Machinecoin, DOPE Dopecoin (soon DigiGreen). Partner projects means we share various resources like technical core development, consulting and networking.
