mesmr is a blockchain that powers the creative economy and mesmr.tv is its proof of concept. Proof of Influence is a solution to the scalability issues of Ethereum, and the sustainability issues of Bitcoin. mesmr.tv illustrates the functionality and concepts behind PoI: using content creators, curators, and brands on the video platform to demonstrate nodes in the mesmr network. The mesmr (blockchain) allows everyone to earn through their interactions with content on the mesmr platform (mesmr.tv). mesmr makes the word “censorship" obsolete as the entire community decides what goes and what doesn't. Though the initial and perhaps main application on the mesmr blockchain is the mesmr video platform, it doesn't mean that the blockchain will only contain media-based applications or mesmr built ones. Anyone can build on top of the mesmr blockchain, no matter where they are, who they are or what they are building. The mesmr blockchain is specialized towards media content, though it can house any form of blockchain-based application pre-existing, or to-be-built application in the future.
