About the project
Godzillion is a platform developed by mifutu.ro, a company based in Chile that is dedicated to developing initiatives based on Blockchain technology.
Godzillion was created in 2015, initially, as a collaborative financing platform focused on decentralized loans between individuals and companies, with a secondary secondary market for the exchange of these securities. We then changed to a platform focused on actions, where investors and companies could interact under a different business logic, with decentralized and secure records.
This is how in 2016 we launched the initial model of Godzillion, focused on presenting startups to a community of investors that could invest in them. Soon after we realized that in order to improve and make the model more efficient for both entrepreneurs and investors, Godzillion could not be in the middle of the selection process. That is why to use the potential of Blockchain technology, we decided to implement a voting process, where the community decides which startups can or can not start a crowdfunding campaign through Godzillion.
In this way, during 2017 we developed a new version of the platform, based on an architecture of smart contracts in Ethereum Blockchain, associating a token called GODZ in all processes, which allows people to vote, finance and exchange startups globally
This token called GODZ is used for all processes that run on the platform, its like a token or license to use Godzillion. Why do you need this token? Because using GODZ we do not charge commission in any of the processes.
We made an initial tokens sales (ITO) between August and September of 2017, being the first in Latin America to implement this process.
In August 2018 we launched beta version 0.3.1 in which the first startup was filed with the community, tiket.ai. It was voted positively and then raised financing for US$3,000 by investors.
Making small rounds of investment, rather than a large fundraiser, provides flexibility to both startups and investors. It allows to create confidence and to the entrepreneurs to work with investors in the initial stages.
We seek to create a Latin American community that allows funding startups within the region and allow the development of innovative and concrete ideas that often stop operating due to lack of financing.
